ISLANDBISOUS is a concept store, and has been a labour of love between us for over a decade. The four of us grew up together nestled in our Papua New Guinean community in Dubai. Our vision for what we wanted for Islandbisous has evolved many times. However, what has always remained central to us is our love for PNG, its rich culture and diversity, our love of community that becomes family, and a shared connection through music, art and travel.
Our shirts are lovingly upcycled: handpicked and handprinted on the Goldcoast, Australia. This means each shirt is one of a kind! The central theme is the Bird of Paradise - the national bird of PNG. We hope that wearing our shirts feels like a warm hug or a lazy afternoon on the beach. Our only wish for you all? To be cozy, comfortable and sustainable.
